Jordan Rasmussen is a policy manager at the Center for Rural Affairs, a nationally recognized advocacy and development organization headquartered in Lyons, Nebraska. Jordan’s efforts focus on Nebraska state policy and advocacy, in the areas of health care and economic and social justice.
Jordan holds a master’s degree in community and regional planning from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to joining the Center for Rural Affairs staff, she worked in higher education administration and fund development.
Along with her husband, David, Jordan lives outside of Fremont, Nebraska, in their fifth-generation farmhouse. They farm in Saunders and Wheeler counties. Jordan is a Nebraska LEAD Fellow and member of the Nebraska Synod ELCA Rural Ministry Network.
